I no longer post here. If you wish to follow me, message me.
Well this will no longer be my main blog anymore… I’m going to keep it active only for my Pine Ridge blog but I will not post anymore… Unfollow me as you wish, and if you’d like to follow my new blog feel free to message me here.
I need to start anew.. I’ll follow you once I start a new one.
These are photos of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation: An Oglala Sioux Native American reservation located in the U.S. state of South Dakota. Here men, women and children are forced to live in appalling poverty stricken conditions because of the neglect and ignorance of the Government whose members live in luxury while these people struggle in cramped conditions with little food and no running water. Many are unaware of this and others just choose to turn a blind eye but we need to get the truth out there and encourage more and more people worldwide to speak out against this as it’s completely disgusting and unacceptable for the U.S in today’s modern society. Reblog and help increase awareness and if you would like to help further you can find out more or make a donation here, every little bit counts. http://friendsofpineridgereservation.org/
INTERESTING, 15 NOTES.
AND YET, A PHOTO THAT I POSTED YESTERDAY OF A TACKY/RACIST BELLY RING HAS 3000.
Oh weetz, darling. Don’t you know that no one cares what out life is actually like? They just want to play pretend Indian.
Technically I’m considered homeless.. My fiance and I are looking into getting a Governors house. We’d need a $30,000+ loan and also the land set up to put it on.
Angel, I don’t think you’re homeless…that’s kind of a far stretch don’t you think? Yeah, you don’t have a place of your own but I think it’s kind of demeaning to people who REALLY don’t have a place to sleep or food to eat to cry around about being homeless. Especially when you have so much going for you. LOL
HUD defined homeless as pertinent to an individual who:
- lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate night-time residence; and
- has a primary night-time residence that is -
- a supervised publicly or privately operated shelter designed to provide temporary living accommodations (including welfare hotels, congregate shelters, and transitional housing for the mentally ill);
- an institution that provides a temporary residence for individuals intended to be institutionalized; or
- a public or private place not designed for, or ordinarily used as, a regular sleeping accommodation for human beings
You’re right I do have things going for me…. except my own home. Right now my parents house is a temporary residence. I know I’m not living on the streets and I appreciate what I do have. I’d take any of these houses in the picture.. When was I “crying” around? I only mentioned that I was “technically homeless” because I wanted to share how I’m working towards getting my own home.
He always gives me that smile after being a rascal. Not fair.
My mom told me today that when Luna has puppies she wants to keep one. I knew she secretly loved my dog.
